We enter into a relationship with Jesus by putting our complete trust in Him and what He did for us on the cross: "As many as received Jesus Christ, to them He gave the right to become children of God, even to those who believe in his name (John 1:12)."
God the Father desires His children, those who have believed in Christ and have received Him, "to become conformed to the image of His Son (Romans 8:29)." The Apostle Paul wrote: "Be imitators of God, as beloved children (Ephesians 5:1)."
When we come together as His children, "we are to grow in all aspects into Him who is the head, even Christ... to measure the stature which belongs to the fullness of Christ (Ephesians 4:15, 13)." Since we are the children of God, we should see a "family resemblance." We should be more Christlike.
The ultimate purpose of Trinity Bible Church is that each and every believer of our congregation becomes more and more like Christ. So, as a body of Christ, we commit ourselves to:
- Exalt the Living God;
- Examine the Word of God;
- Encourage the Family of God; and
- Extend the Love of God.
